What to know about Le Labo.

Le Labo was founded by Fabrice Penot and Eddie Roschi in New York in 2006 with a radical-then, now-imitated-everywhere idea: blend the perfume in front of the customer, label it with their name and the date, and let them watch the maceration happen.

Their compositions favour a few materials done very well — Santal 33 (sandalwood, leather, cardamom) defined the late-2010s indie aesthetic.
