Francis Kurkdjian is one of the most celebrated noses of the 21st century — perfumer of Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Mâle at twenty-five, then a long parade of cult releases for other houses, then finally his own maison in 2009.
The MFK signature is precision: every composition is sculpted to project exactly, last exactly, and sit on skin exactly as the perfumer intended. Baccarat Rouge 540 is the modern masterpiece — saffron, jasmine, ambergris and cedar in a perfume that smells expensive in a way no other perfume quite does.
