The Dossier
What to know about Memo Paris.
Memo Paris was founded in 2007 by Clara and John Molloy, who built the house around the concept of olfactive travel — each composition named for a place that inspired it, illustrated on the bottle as a passport stamp. Irish Leather (the Connemara coast), Lalibela (the Ethiopian highlands), Marfa (the West Texas desert) and Italian Leather are the cornerstone releases.
The compositions are generous, narrative and built to last — Aldéhyde 44 and Tiger's Nest are particular references for collectors who prize evocative niche over reformulated mainstream.
Notable releases
- Irish LeatherJuniper, mate, leather, suede — the windswept coastal masculine
- MarfaTuberose, orange blossom, musk — Texas desert white florals
- LalibelaFrankincense, jasmine, vanilla — the Ethiopian highland incense
