Parfums de Marly takes its name from Château de Marly, Louis XIV's private retreat outside Versailles. Each composition is built around a horse from the royal stables and a single hero accord — Layton's vanilla, Pegasus' heliotrope, Herod's tobacco, Delina's lychee-rose.
