The Dossier
What to know about Prada.
Prada launched its first perfume in 2003 with Daniela Andrier (Givaudan) as house perfumer — a partnership that produced the cult Infusion d'Iris (2007), the Olfactories collection (2015) and the entire main fragrance wardrobe. The house style is restrained, intellectual and unmistakably Italian: cold florals, mineral woods, transparent ambers.
Paradoxe (2022) and Luna Rossa Ocean (2022) anchor the modern mainline, while the Olfactories niche-tier collection — Cargo de Nuit, Purple Rain, Tainted Love — remains a collector reference for those who want Prada's most unfiltered work.
