The Dossier
What to know about Swiss Arabian.
Swiss Arabian was founded in Sharjah in 1974 and is, by stock-volume, one of the most widely owned Arabian perfume houses in the world. The catalogue runs the full spectrum — concentrated attars and CPO oils on one side, modern western-style EDPs on the other — with a price-to-performance ratio that has made it a global gateway into Gulf perfumery.
The house favours the classic Arabian raw-material palette: Ta'if rose, Mysore-styled sandalwood, Cambodi and Hindi oud, frankincense, saffron, and a deep, balsamic amber base. The signature Swiss Arabian profile is warm, rich and built to last twelve hours on skin without thinning out.
Shaghaf Oud, Bade'e Al Oud, Layali Rouge and the Rasheeqa line are the references most often recommended as the entry point into the Gulf perfume idiom — generous bottles, dense projection, and a sillage that travels.
