The journey of Amandine Clerc-Marie.
Opening chapter
mandine Clerc-Marie is a renowned French perfumer born in Grasse, the heart of the French perfume industry. Growing up with a mother in the perfume sector, she developed an early affinity for scents. Clerc-Marie honed her craft at ISIPCA in Versailles, where she learned about fragrance creation and raw materials. Following her education, she spent over ten years working alongside Michel Almairac before joining Firmenich in 2011. She has crafted fragrances for luxury fashion brands like Van Cleef & Arpels, Yves Saint Laurent, Lancôme, and Thierry Mugler. Her work is characterized by a modern elegance, with notable creations including the 2008 Chloé fragrance, La Nuit Trésor for Lancôme, and Aura Mugler for Mugler. A visual thinker, she draws inspiration from movement, colors, and shapes, and strives to maintain a modest demeanor despite her significant success.
