02 · Formation
Born in Kassel, Germany, Geza Schoen's trajectory into perfumery began with studies in chemistry at the University of Heidelberg. Following this, he undertook formal training at Haarmann & Riemer, a prominent fragrance and flavour house, where he refined his skills in the scientific and artistic disciplines of scent composition. This foundational period preceded a career marked by collaboration and a drive to explore novel concepts within the industry.
03 · Practice
Schoen is particularly acclaimed for establishing his own line, Escentric Molecules, in 2006. This venture defied conventional perfumery by focusing on individual aroma molecules, demonstrating their standalone beauty and complexity. Beyond his personal brand, his creative signature is evident in contributions to various labels, including Diesel and Ormonde Jayne, showcasing his versatile and inventive spirit.
