Ilias Ermenidis is a renowned perfumer celebrated for his remarkable mastery in fragrance formulation. Born in Constantinople, he spent his childhood in Athens and developed a passion for fragrances while working in his father's flavors and fragrance factory in Istanbul. His academic pursuit in perfumery took him to Paris, where he attended the prestigious ISIPCA. He was the first perfumer trainee to be hired by Firmenich, embracing his role as an 'artist in residence' for over two decades. His career has seen him live in various cities, including Paris, Geneva, and New York. A dedicated perfumer, Ilias combines his love for family and intellectual pursuits with his craft, drawing inspiration from art, opera, and his multicultural background. His signature style is characterized by a magical blend of talent, technique, and creativity, resulting in fragrances like Gucci by Gucci Eau de Parfum and Vera Wang Princess, among others.
