Isabelle Doyen, a French perfumer, developed her craft at ISIPCA, completing her education in 1982. She began her career as an independent perfumer, collaborating with her former tutor, Monique Schlienger. A pivotal meeting in 1985 with Annick Goutal led to a long and fruitful professional association. Together, they co-created many of the acclaimed Annick Goutal fragrances, including iconic compositions such as 'Eau d'Hadrien' and 'Petite Chérie'. Following Goutal's passing, Doyen continued her dedication to the brand, working alongside Camille Goutal, Annick's daughter.

Beyond her extensive contributions to Annick Goutal, Doyen was also a formative creative force behind the Swiss fragrance house Les Nez. Her work there includes the inventive 'Turtle Vetiver' series, showcasing her ability to craft groundbreaking scents. Throughout her career, Doyen has earned acclaim for her distinctive creative approach, often integrating less conventional ingredients. Her compositions are noted for their emotive quality, intriguing without ever overwhelming the senses. She frequently incorporates materials such as rose essence, estragon, galbanum, and blackcurrant. In addition to her perfumery work, Doyen is also committed to perfumery education.
