An eponymous brand, Lorenzo Villoresi was founded in Florence in 1990 by its creator. Born in 1956, Villoresi is an Italian perfumer who gained international recognition for his unique approach to fragrance, specialising in custom compositions and aromatic potpourris. His work frequently features an exploration of exotic and oriental notes, a sensibility honed through his experiences travelling in the Middle East. This influence is evident in the rich, complex character of many of his creations.

Throughout his career, Villoresi has been acknowledged for his contributions to perfumery, receiving prestigious accolades such as the Prix François Coty in 2006.
