Born in France, Sidonie Lancesseur embarked on her perfumery journey after developing an early fascination with scent, inspired by the natural world around her. She honed her craft and formalised her education at ISIPCA, the renowned institution for fragrance and cosmetics. Her professional career began at Robertet, where she benefited from the guidance and mentorship of esteemed perfumer Michel Almairac, a foundational experience that shaped her distinctive approach to composition.

Lancesseur's signature style is characterised by its elegant simplicity and a deep connection to natural elements, crafting fragrances that feel effortlessly refined. Over her distinguished career, she has lent her talent to a diverse portfolio of esteemed brands, including By Kilian, Frapin, and Atkinsons. Her notable creations include By Kilian's Straight to Heaven and Frapin's 1270, among others, showcasing her ability to translate complex concepts into beautifully articulated olfactory narratives.
