02 · Formation
Hailing from the South of France, Théo Belmas cultivated an early fascination with aesthetic disciplines and style during his formative years. His varied upbringing, which included gardening alongside his grandparents and engaging with classical musical compositions, shaped his eventual journey into the world of perfumery. These initial experiences imbued him with a unique perspective, now evident in his fragrance contributions.
03 · Practice
Following academic study in molecular chemistry, Belmas honed his craft in Grasse before joining Symrise in 2019. There, he has particularly focused on the intricate art of fragrance reformulation, continually demonstrating his technical proficiency. His enduring connection to dance also serves as a subtle, yet significant, source of inspiration, adding a distinctive rhythm to his creative output.
